How Sentrix collects, uses, and protects personal data, in compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Pending legal review.
Who we are
Sentrix Ltd (“Sentrix”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16579144), with our registered office at Harrison House, Rackery Lane, Llay, Wrexham, LL12 0PB.
For any data protection query, contact us via our contact page.
Scope of this policy
This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website, principally the enquiries you send us. It does not cover the data our care-monitoring products process within a care setting; that processing is governed by separate agreements between Sentrix and the care providers who operate those products.
What data we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect:
- your name;
- your organisation or setting;
- your email address;
- your phone number (optional);
- the content of your message;
- your consent confirmation and the time it was given.
We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies on this website, and we do not collect analytics data about your visit. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
Lawful basis
We process your enquiry data on the basis of consent, which you give by ticking the consent box when you submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us; withdrawing it will not affect any processing already carried out.
How we use your data
We use your enquiry data solely to:
- respond to your enquiry;
- arrange a demonstration or trial where you have asked for one;
- maintain a record of our correspondence with you.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
We do not share your enquiry data except with the service providers that operate this website and its contact form, under appropriate data-processing terms:
- Web3Forms, which delivers our contact-form submissions to our inbox;
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
These providers process data only on our instructions. We do not disclose your data to any other third party unless required to do so by law.
International transfers
Where a service provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision) to protect your data.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry correspondence, including submissions received through our contact form, for up to three years from your last contact with us, after which it is deleted. Where an enquiry leads to an ongoing relationship, we may retain relevant records for as long as that relationship continues and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to our processing of your data;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our contact page. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page.
